Siemens Healthcare Ltd - Collaborations Manager – Computed Tomography

This diverse role involved a across multiple disciplines nd in fostering relationships based on advancements in high end wi  This role sees me working in clinical settings advising on current and emergent applications of CT such as myocardial perfusion, low-dose lung screening, motion-negation and brain injury as examples. This requires a high level of self motivated learning and initiative. This role also involves managing project timelines as well as mediating with high-level management and senior legal counsels in negotiation of contractual agreements of parties involved in collaboration topics with Siemens.

Siemens Healthcare Ltd - Senior Clinical Applications Specialist – Computed Tomography

In this role I operated as the senior clinical applications specialist for Australia-New Zealand and have assisted in CT service delivery at many of Australia’s major tertiary hospitals and high-end private facilities. By combining a strong clinical skill-set with a commercial sensibility of Radiology as a service and a business I was able to work closely with members of the imaging chain to provide clinical leadership as well as optimise workflows and bring efficiencies to imaging protocols. This quality resulted in me travelling extensively, even to India and the USA.


2004 - 2011

Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital - Senior CT Radiographer

In this role I worked both as part of the team and independently during late shifts and on-call. I gained a comprehensive set of skills with a high volume of experience in trauma, oncology, vascular, coronary, acute stroke and the day-to-day running of a CT service as relieving team leader.


Allied Health Clinical Education Training Unit, Queensland Health - Project Manager

On a six month contracted basis I developed and delivered a vocational education and training program for the medical radiation profession through wide consultation and cooperation with key stakeholders across Queensland.

I developed this AIR accredited three-day course and delivered it for two years in Siemens’ Sydney classroom with participants flying into Sydney for the duration of the course. The aim being to equip radiographers with the skills to scan with confidence and leadership in the application of CT in areas such as Coronary Angiography, Acute Stroke Imaging, Vascular Angiography and Dual Energy.
